Here

Ever wonder how someone can be level ten and have 50 Miniguns, Bullet Proof Vests and Escalades? Most people that have the ability to do this have been bounty hunting.

Most bounty hunters don't want to level fast. The lower the level you are, then the more bounties you will see. You use to only see most bounties between levels 8 and 30, and rarely did you see any passed level 50. But there are now more people that are higher level and have a high income. So now, (to me) the best level for bounty hunting is level 50. But here are the tips I suggest for you if you want to go this path and get geared up in the lower levels:

The best class as a bounty hunter is a Mogul. Nightowl, Soldato and Renegade are a waste when you are not doing missions and it is cheap to pay the hospital fees. If you make 5 million, after upkeep, every 55 minutes, then that's an extra 10 million a day as a Mogul.

Since you are not going to be doing missions when you start bounty hunting (or at least not doing the missions that give you experience), then you do not want to waste any skill points in energy. Put most skill points into attack and little to none in defense (start adding to defense after level 20, if you want to). The reason for this is most people that will attack you in the lower levels are not going to have a lot of gear or mobsters, so your gear alone will suffice (when you have the max amount of the best gear for your level). For health, this might vary from hunter to hunter, but I would say you would want at least 200 by level 15. The more health you have the more damage you will do. Also, Some people will only want the original 3 stamina they start with, others want as many as 15. 7-8 stamina seems to work perfectly fine for me. The most import skills as a bounty hunter is attack; second would be health.

You want to make sure that you have at least 5 times your level in mob members. I would try to get 100 right away.

When you start, do the 'Residential Burglary' mission until you are out of energy and do that mission every time you have energy; since you don't gain any experience for doing that mission. You want to get your mob armed as soon as possible, so buy nothing but .38 Specials first. Once you have a .38 Special for every mob member that can fight (Remember 5 * your level and if you don't have the max amount of mobsters for your level, then get them quick.), then start buying Bullet Proof Vests. It is possible to start bounty hunting at level 4. If you are capable, then stop doing missions when you start to collect bounties. Before you start bounty hunting, be sure to get a bank account right away so you can buy health.

While doing missions from level 1-8, also fight people to gain more money, but don't do it randomly. Go to their page first and check to see if they have property (check the Moguls first). If they have property, attack. If you receive a good amount of money, then keep attacking until they are in the hospital, dead or you're out of stamina. While doing this, always make sure you have enough money in the bank to pay the hospital fees.

Keep adding mob members while waiting for stamina or energy .

If not sooner, by level 8 you should be fairly equipped to start bounty hunting.

The following is the most important part and the reason why I wrote this thread.

This is the tedious part of being a bounty hunter, but will pay off. There are two different ways of using the hit list:

1 - While on the hit list page, click the 'Refresh' button (The refresh button on the mobster app, not your browser), during this half second refresh, move the mouse cursor to where the 'Attack' button will show up and click no matter if the attack button shows up or not. You want to be REAL fast. Keep going back and forth like this. I'm usually listening to music while doing this.

2 - With this option the only difference is you click the 'Hit List' tab and while it's refreshing move the mouse cursor to the 'Attack' button.

The list will refresh faster by selecting the 'Hit List' tab, instead of the 'Refresh' button, but the distance to move the mouse is greater. Either works, practice both and see which one works best for you. Also, max out the mouse movement setting in Windows (How to change this setting varies on the Operating System you are using. It's left up to you to find out how to change this. Hint: Google it.). This will make moving between the 'Hit List'/'Refresh' and 'Attack' a lot easier and faster.

I have only used three different browsers. Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome. Chrome appears to have the fastest refresh and Firefox is a close second. Internet Explorer seems to be the slowest one to use for the hit list. If you have been using Internet Explorer, then I advise you to try Chrome or Firefox. I also hear Safari is fast, but definitely avoid Internet Explorer.

You do not want to waste time reading the bounties as they appear on the hit list. This will waste time and the person will be dead before you click attack. You will lose some fights, but you can't care about that or you will never win a bounty.

Also, you do not have to win the fight to collect a bounty, but you must do the last amount of damage that brings the person's health to zero. If the person has 50 health when you attack them and you do 20 damage, then they have 30 health left, so they are still alive. You can win a bounty by only doing 2 damage, but that must be the damage that brings them down to zero.

THE MOST IMPORTANT SKILL IS PATIENCE!!!! That first bounty is always the hardest one since you are still under geared.

Unfortunately, since the ambulances have come out, you will find some people on the hit list, usually level 300+, that have a lot of health and defense, sometimes hired guns as well, and are able to stay on the hit list for a very long time. They are called "Hit List Riders". They do this to increase their 'Fights Won' and 'Mobsters Wacked' stats. It is pointless for you to attack them if you are less than level 200. Make a note of these names and do the best you can to avoid them. When you do see them, then refresh again and look for a target beneath them. Also pay attention to the lower level hit list riders as well. If they have been listed for more than 5 seconds, then avoid attacking them.

Once you start getting hits, make sure all your mob members are first equipped with .38 Specials, then Bullet Proof Vests. Once they are equipped with this, then start investing into properties first before you start buying vehicles. If you start getting big hits early, then go straight for the Bulletproof Escalades and replace those .38 specials with weapons that have a higher attack rating.

At level 10, start replacing your weapons with Miniguns. At 15, replace Escalades with Armor trucks. You can replace Miniguns with RPG Launchers at level 15 or you can have both. If you choose to have both, then your Miniguns will be used when someone attacks you and your RPG Launchers will be used when you attack someone.

Follow these tips and you should do quite well. Happy Hunting!
